GF_PROMER
Description
GF_PROMER Time-Variable Setpoint Programmer
Each program is identifiable by a number and name, with configurable time base (days/hours, hours/min, min/sec), start/stop strategies, and cyclical repetitions. Steps within programs are similarly configurable, with up to 4 setpoint values per loop and step duration. Copy, delete, and add functions speed up programming.
Programs can be immediately displayed in trend form to verify correctness. The monitor page shows real-time trends of process variables and programmed setpoints side by side, along with basic program information, elapsed/remaining time, and enable/input states. Loop engineering scales are independent and displayed on graphs and bargraphs.
The "Hold Back Band" function can be set independently for each step and loop to ensure variables remain within defined tolerances, blocking execution if deviations exceed limits. Bargraph pages provide visual feedback of analog indicators, heating/cooling phases, deviations, and output power level, with configurable zone display (1–4 zones). Manual adjustments of setpoint, power, and PID values can be made per zone.
GF_PROMER includes full alarm management with recognition functions, multi-level password protection, and historical data/program/settings storage via USB. The distributed control architecture allows flexibility and modularity for various equipment and applications.
Controller Functions: ON/OFF, P, PI, PID (heat-only, cool-only, or double-action heat + cool). Cooling action can be specified based on the cooling fluid (air, oil, water). Advanced automatic tuning calculates optimal process parameters efficiently under all conditions.
Alarms: Each zone supports two alarm setpoints (minimum/maximum) with configurable control variable, setpoint, hysteresis, and five properties (latch, disable at switch-on, normal/symmetrical, absolute/deviation, direct/inverse). LBA, HB, and SBR alarms are supported and displayed with icons on the alarm page.
